Does no one want to broach the subject? I will:
Now, first of all, I wanted to say how I love Woj's writing. One of my favorite basketball writers, even with any bias he may have. On to LeBron...
Screw this kid. But, if this is indeed his doing and thinking, I do appreciate him being transparent enough about it to give us time to prepare to change draft strategy.
The rumor mill regarding us and Tony Parker has since starting churning again, this time as a three way deal with an unknown team. I'm thinking Charlotte would be the team, and I don't think it'd be a bad trade. My thoughts are these: NY gets Tony Parker, (rights to) Tiago Spliiter; SA gets Tyson Chandler, Wilson Chandler; CHA gets Eddy Curry, Roger Mason. I'm pretty sure the numbers work, but I just don't feel like taking the time to do it this second. But this is how I see it going down, with the exception of Splitter. I don't think we'll get him in the deal or at that cheap a price, but I would love to. According to most scouts (DraftExpress's Givony, especially), Splitter's ready to step in and go in the NBA. Win.
