Josh Elliot is an Idiot
Josh Elliot tells Spike Lee the Knicks have "Amar'e and nothing else." REALLY Josh?!?! Gotta love Spike's reaction.

I think Spike was wrong with the rigged stuff.
It think the orginal plan was for all 3 of these guys to go to NY. The only way it would’ve happened was if Eddy Curry didn’t take his player option.
Didn’t Lebuns call Eddy early on this offseason? Maybe he was requesting him to not take the option.
Bye, Lee :(

to me is the epitome of broadcasting stooge that doesn’t know jack about sports and is constantly fed info. he is not worth discussing further.

You know what? Does anyone remember Jon Stewart going on Crossfire and roasting Tucker Carlson?
Listening to the ESPN guys interview Spike Lee felt oddly like that. Fuggin’ amateurs. I found them pretty condescending to say the least. Nothing creative about their questions, “Are the Heat gonna win? What did the Knicks do wrong? What are YOU gonna do to help bring players in?” I mean really…. these guys have absolutely ZERO insight to the matter and if they might really think hat Spike Lee has enough pull in NY that the Knicks rely on him to bring in a FA? C’mon now. Of course dude is face here, but he’s no different than Ashley fuckin Judd in Kentucky!!! And Spike doesn’t try to be more than that!

That Jon Stewart interview
is the reason that Crossfire was canceled.
And if I may delve into the realms of imagination association, this scenario reminds me of what the Knicks could pull off this upcoming year. Nobody gave Stewart any credit for actually knowing his politics because he’s on Comedy Central at 11:00 pm and caters mainly to youth; but, he knows what he talking about, and im sure he could have predicted what he was going to do in that interview.
As far as the Knicks go, they’ve been pretty bad for the better part of a decade and “struck out” in their pursuit of Lebron, but they’ve got a complete team of mostly good contracts and plenty of opportunity to get really good really fast. Sleepers like Gallo and Randolph are going to really surprise people, and the management seems like it knows what it’s doing.
I’d like to see the Knicks upset a few clubs and “cancel” the NBA with a lockout while the owners haggle over the new CBA next year. Would be awesome I think, but I’m just a kid.
Start the season already, sheesh.
