LeBron James will not be a member of the New York Knicks.
The good news? It's over. I'll update with whatever new stories arise.

So
we don’t walk on water. I’m looking forward to the playoff series where Gallo, Amare, and Carmelo win in 6.

Suck it Pats, Bills and most of all... the god damn jets.
Sean Smith/Vontae Davis= Pat Surtain/Sam Madison
BRANDON MARSHALL- FUTURE MIAMI HOF WR!!!!!
i hope he enjoys it
when his fans leave at halftime
I am a fan of both the mets and knicks... so just kill me now.
Give credit where credit is due
This is the beginning of the Donnie Walsh era. We didn’t get “the prize”, but the world still turns and the knicks are still on their way to joining the elite. The base is there, we have our superstar, now thank God we can go about the business of filling out our roster. I sincerely believe Melo will be here by the end of next year, that Gallo will be sharpshooting the lights out, that TD will DWTDD, and that we won’t need a world beating PG to do it. This is gonna be a solid team. Lebron James isn’t the answer, chemistry, team defense and unselfish play is gonna bring the electricity back to the Garden
They have no other players
Bad move. Better for us.

I am more upset that I wasted all my time paying attention to free agency like this.
Darrelle Revis once won a game of Connect Four in three moves.
im not
im happy where we are and where were going
and deep down i alway wanted lebron to be the villian
I'm happy with the Knicks.
Not happy I wasted my time, haha. I still love acquisition of Amar’e.
Darrelle Revis once won a game of Connect Four in three moves.
Lebron needs to tell his inner circle to keep their mouths shut next time, haha.

No
Was there ever a doubt on where Wade was going? And you can just slap a leash on Bosh. I am sure he’s a nice dude, but a complete cotton ball in the NBA. I don’t believe for a minute this was decided today. But it officially ends all truth to the Lebron “legacy” of being a student of the game, wanting rivalries, etc. But at least he came thru on the “returning old-fashioned hate” to the game. This was a total circus act and in the end, non-issue. Blessings to Cleveland, but truly money and fame trumps honor and commitment. Never put your eggs in one basket (case)
yea hes not at all a student of the game
NY is the home of basketball. And u can’t tell me he couldn’t win a ship in 3yrs wit him amare melo and gallo. Fukin sucka 4real. He has no legacy I will never refer to him as the best in the game. I hope his friends were the reason he chose miami so in 2 yrs wen he still don’t have a ship he’ll cry n say he wants to go sumwhere else fukin sucka

lol he did????
he’s worse than Favre…that takes a lotta effort.

"Well played, Mauer." - Guy from PS3 commercials
he's humble for joining a team with 2 other stars...
but when they get on the court, and realize that even tho its 3 members of the “redeem team”, they’re missing the C and PG of the “redeem tea”.
And the bench.

On second thought
I get moving on, the team should be good, and Miami’s a better city than Cleveland.
Also, I’d prefer Ellis over Randolph.
by Kaanon on Jul 8, 2010 9:52 PM EDT via mobile reply actions
dont eff it up now DW
saw something saying now the Knicks will chase after Mike Miller, basically outbid the Heat for him – jayzus H effin C — I love the warriors trade, but signing miller for that much and that many years would drop a huge pile of ass on DW’s ‘plan’
Our long national nightmare is over
And we have a basketball team we can cheer for without feeling filthy, or having to shove bandwagoners aside to get a good look at. Callin this one a win for the Bockers and their fans
No disrespect to any Knicks fan only for Gallo
Gallo was in the Nets room talking crap for 4 hours last night about Lebron to the Knicks and we suck and stuff like that
this message is for Gallo only : HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW . IN YOUR FACE BITCH

Like Kanye West said
That that that dont kill (us) only makes (us) stronger.
From this point forward only true fans will support this team, and only guys who want to be Knicks will play for us.
We will be united like Votron. Amar’e, Douglas, and Gallo will be the holy trinity of this team.

is it safe to say lebron will be booed at msg next year?
LeBron should be boo’d everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Even when he’s out to eat, watching a movie, walking the dog, whatever.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
There’s no way that LeBron and Dwayne mesh. It will just be an awkward duo that will let thousands down.
The only true wisdom consists in knowing that you know nothing.
so yea seth make that we hate heat section
I look at this way. I can pay a voodoo woman to destroy his career dat wud be the easy way. I’ll jus get rich see him and call him a fag to his face. I seriously hope a shark bites his fukin leg in the miami beach. Fuckin sucka. Anybody down for a laqueen 69 jersey

I would have respected him
More if he would have stayed with the Cavs he is a loser. He took the easy way out instead of being a man and becoming a leader. He will never be half the man Jordan was and even if he wins 15 championships players like Ewing, Barkley, Jordan, Malone, and Bryant will still be more of a Player than Lebron. If anything I feel sorry for the Cavs. That ok though we got Amare and hoepfully we will build a Championship team with him.
yea he lost a legacy
Such great talent but he diluted his legend. He’ll 4eva be known as the player who left his home to follow the easy route. I would’ve respected the clippers because he would’ve been the leader and he would’ve been the legend. But now if he wins one I’ll jus look at it as he ain’t earn it. fukin sucka

I like Clyde's comment
“He took the easy way out.” Yeah, but sometimes the easy way works. That being said, lets pull it together and get a winning team as well to challenge those guys.
i wonder how he'll feel wen dwade lifts the finals mvp trophy

BTW, how great is Kevin Durant??
Equally as talented as LeBron (IMHO) and resigns a long term deal with his small market team without a fuss. Way to do it.

I seen its a 2nd round pick this year, but the first rounders aren't necessarily this year.
If Kahn didn’t protect the Wolves pick…he doesn’t care about the rest of the league..not just the Knicks
Bye, Lee :(
Dan Gilbert is going in on Bron Bron!
Anyone read the open letter to Cavs fans? Plus he just did an interview with AP in which he said LeBron quit in games 2, 4, 5 and 6 on his team. talk about a scorned lover…
Well
He’s now the most hated player in the NBA…oh yea, and he’ll always have one ring less than Dwyane. Sweet.
But this unites us as a fanbase. We’ve been going through some interesting times here, and I’m glad to say that the Knick’s team is starting to look good. Not a powerhouse, but definitely a play-off contender. Add Melo and we’ve got ourselves a sick team.
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.
Vince Lombardi
Screw us, we always look out for our own we're not arrogant fans, we're passionate fans
But I for damn sure hope the Knicks keep a board of the ESPNegative crack smack they’ve laid and continue to lay on the Knicks org. I hope this unites them as a core for the future. Check the tudes and personal agendas (stats, etc) at the door and commit to chemistry, teamwork, defense and winning at all cost. I’m ready for this season and ready to see some heart and ass-whooping. Time to shut up and put up
What the eff?
Man all of that just to say ‘I am going to Miami?" Lebron, you could have did it better than that. I don’t think it was Lebron’s idea to go to Miami. He’s talking about he can win a championship more easily in Miami? I don’t see the logic in that decision at all. More power to you bro. Hope it dosen’t work out.
