An optimistic 2010 Season Forecast 63 wins

Since I incorrecty posted the Mrs. LeBron Wade malware alert instead of doing it as a fanshot I have decided to rewrite the post as a season forecast. I have been reading the various blog predictions and 43 wins seems to be the most optimistic. Until now that is. Forget those nervous Nellies. The Knicks are gonna win 63 regular season games and take it all the way in the playoffs. Here's how.

First and foremost our coach is not an idiot. The proof, he makes $5 milllion a year. Those are not idiot wages. He's gonna look around when he gets to camp and see the depth. He's gonna install a ten man rotation and we're gonna run most teams off the court in human wave attacks.

Surprise starters Mosgov and Fields will be fighting it out for rookie of the year honors. Fields will average 20 and 10 and replaces Gallo as the starting point forward. D'Antoni will cleverly put Mozzie down low where he won't collect as many over the back personals as he did playing top of the key for the Russian team. His rebounding numbers will go up to 18 per game and he will also average 17 points on 4-6 shooting and 9 foul shots in 25 minutes per game. He will also average 3 blocks per (while Jarvis Vernado averages .5 for the Heat).

Anthony  Randolph will average a double double and go off for 40 pts  eight times. Twice against the Celtics and once against Miami. He will also write a best selling book of rap poetry.

Amare will have his best season as a pro 29 - 12.

Freed from Larry Brown's stodgy offense Raymond Felton will average 19pts, 10 assists 4 steals and make the allstar team.

The Knicks will not lose a game in January.
