LOU...ANYONE???
hey what you guys think of lou amundson? i think he would be a great fit for knicks as a garbage man...i know the knicks have their 15 already but i dont it hurts bringing in another energy guy off the bench who dives after loose balls...what do you guys think? There are a couple of teams interested in his services and i think the knicks should make him an offer of vets min.

Charlotte, Toronto and Indiana are the Eastern Conference teams he's reportedly tied with.
And yeah I think you’re right, I don’t see why he would still be on the market if he was asking for something reasonable. He’s a big guy, someone would have snatched him by now.

I don't know about this one.
I was cheering for the Suns in the playoffs because Amare was always one of my favorite players and whenever this guy got the ball I cringed. He makes mistakes. I don’t know too much about him though so I wont call him out on being a scrub just yet.

Suns fans loved him big time.
Dude is an undersized PF who doesn’t have much of an offensive game. However, he will grab rebounds, D-up, and hustle for every loose ball. He seems like a shorter version of a Varejo-type player. A great energy guy to boost your team and doesn’t require shots to be effective.
I would welcome him to the Knicks, but it would be a waste if he was only a guy brought in during garbage time. He is good enough to play decent minutes on most NBA teams, but I think he might not fit on a Knicks team that has enough guys to handle the frontline positions and all of our guys have better offensive games than Mr. Admundson does.
He doesn’t want to ride pine for 35 mins a game, and thats what he would do here in NY. If he was ok in a minor bench role, he would have resigned in Phoenix. But he wants to play, and he should.

i'd rather have amundson than williams
and i don’t really want amundson. and we need a player in the backcourt more than we need one in the frontcourt.

Mozgov and Turiaf
kinda render Amundson moot.

If you referring to THE Anthony Bonner
then I’m absolutely tickled. Few remember the years where he got legit minutes, but I think I can safely proclaim he was one of the gulliest Knick players of all time.
And now he’s workin for the Knicks

Suns fan last year. Knicks fan from now on
I can tell you that Louis Amundson is genuine garbage. Obnoxiously terrible defensively, and somehow even worse offensively. How the hell is that even possible? Why is he even in the league?
oh..here’s the answer. To be the token white fan favorite. Same as Scalabrine. Disgusting.
I think someone is going to make a mistake a pay amundson
He looked a lot better than he really was because of the team he was on. Nash was getting him layups and dunks, and opposing frontcourts were so worried about collapsing on Amare that Lou had lots of space to grab boards and get garbage points.
I’m sure this guy is going to be a waste of space on a team with a regular halfcourt set offense. He’s like a poor man’s Renaldo Balkman, except Renaldo’s jumper looked like Ray Allen’s compared to him.
They will be for!

A poor man's Renaldo Balkman?
That is just mean.
You're right though
Guys like Lou are a dime a dozen IMO
