Breaking News / Hilarity

A little surprised at the timing of this story:

So, now what for Denver?  I'm really not all that interested in trading for Melo, but I think with this new twist it becomes an interesting story that we have to follow either way.  If Anthony's not going to the Nets, where can he be headed?  Is he staying in Denver for the rest of the season?  Just from a general basketball (non-Knicks) viewpoint, I'm fascinated by this story.  It's completely different from the FA shenanigans this summer--both less damning and decidedly more chaotic.  Maybe a new trade where we could somehow bring Nene to the Garden could happen now?
