The worst unit on a good team has been the Knicks' Raymond Felton, Landry Fields, Danilo Gallinari, Amar'e Stoudemire and Ronny Turiaf, which has been outscored by 6.5 points per 100 possessions in 108 minutes.
In studying five-man units, Schuhmann finds that one of Mike D'Antoni's oft-used starting lineups has been rather ineffective. Interesting. On a lighter note, the Knicks are among the league's most improved teams in terms of efficiency. (Tip of the hat to 100% dundee).

thats my starting line up
in 2k11 and i’m beastin it! but my other favorite unit is felt, toney, chandler, amare, and AR. in 2k11 of course. but in real life, i think that unit shuhmann wrote about would be our most effective unit due to safaris defense/rebounding. apparently not effective offensively, but if the other team isnt scoring due to better defense, then we got stat, cock, and felt to pour in some points. i cant wait til feltons completely healthy.
oh god here come the comments
but yeah wilson needs to start somewhere…

Probably shows that if we had a C that could score more than 4.5pts a game
they wouldn’t be last on this list.
Last night, a comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows
Turiaf and Field
Turiaf and Landry are offensive non-factors so this is not surprising. Turiaf’s defense is even overrated, he can block shots but can’t rebound. There was a reason a D’Antoni was nutting himself over Mozgov at the beginning of the year and it was over the thought of not having to play Turiaf.

Irreverent, informative, entertaining. A welcomed curveball to mainstream watered down basketball analysis.

But Mozgov can't rebound either
I think this is the Knicks’ biggest problems. Giving up an offensive rebound is one of the most demoralizing plays in basketball and the Knicks do a lot of it. I wouldn’t say Fields is a non-factor offensively. At all. He’s more of an opportunistic guy out there but he finds a way to score points. And I firmly believe his rebounding has won us a few games.
Hmm interesting
I still like this lineup though. Turiaf usually does better offensively if Stat is sitting and TD is on the floor, too. Agree with Rorschach, a better center could probably improve things dramatically
draMATICALLY
"they try to do what he do, and been where he's been, but they get folded in two.....he's the dude"
The knicks frighten me, but always concerned me, amare has. Happy to see him leave the west, I was. If melo ends up in new york, then the east becomes the stronger and more scary conference. Hmmmmmm.
Looking forward to tonights game, am I.
No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
I read your post.
And hear the dad of the girl in KickAss

Something we get on dagobah movies are not, so im sure what you are referencing. Take it as a complement I shall.

I love a lot of what Ronny brings to the table
But it’s a little frustrating that he won’t even look at the basket on offense sometimes. He is a good passer, but it sometimes seems like that skill is borne of a desperation to get the ball out of his hands as fast as possible. I know he will never become a big time scoring threat and that’s fine, but seeing him pass up decent shots less than 10 feet from the bucket is really aggravating. He can hit a 12-15 foot jumper, he just never, ever takes them unless he has absolutely no other choice.
If other teams didn’t have the luxury of not defending him at all, I think you would see lineups featuring Turiaf fare a hell of a lot better.
Made glorious summer by this son of [New] York.

I would be interested to know the difference
between that lineup and when chandler is in there instead of Safari.
I think it was Bobby V who said: "You are never as good as you are when you are at your best, and you are not as bad as when you are at your worst."
timely roster changes
should dismember the mouths of the Stubborn DA’ fans out there ..at least for a game.
