A new four team trade
After overwhelming NO to my last trade I am going to try and put out a better, more realistic trade.
I cant put the link in so here is the analysis.
Knicks get:Anthony
Landry
Jeter
Knicks give:
Azibuike
Williams
Fields
Randolph
Walker
2012 1st round pick
2014 1st round pick
2013 2nd round pick
Why it is good for the Knicks: They get Carmelo, Jeter, and Landry. Nuff said
Why it is bad for the Knicks: They lose out on tons of potential in Fields and Randolph along with a good shooter in Williams and two other useful players along with 2 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick.
Kings get:
Azubuike
Williams
Nocioni
Ely
2012 1st round pick
2013 2nd round pick
2011 2nd round pick
Kings give
Landry
Jeter
Garcia
2011 2nd round draft pick
Why is it good for the Kings: They get rid of the disgruntled Landry. They free up cap space for this offseason. They gain 3 draft picks over the next 3 years to help build this team for the future.
Why is it bad for the Kings: They lose out on Jeter and also lose valuable player in Garcia.
Nuggets get
Fields
Randolph
Walker
Iguodala
2014 1st round pick
2011 2nd round pick
2013 2nd round pick
Nugget give:
Harrington
Anthony
Ely
Why is it good for the Nuggets: They get a lot in return for Anthony. along with 3 future picks they gain, 2nd tier star Andre Iguodala, 2 players with so much potential in Fields and Randolph and another serviceable player. They also lose Al Harrington's contract
Why is it bad for the Nuggets: They lose Anthony.
76ers get:
Randolph
Garcia
Curry
2011 2nd round draft pick
76ers give:
Iguodala
Nocioni
2011 2nd round pick
2013 2nd round pick
Why is it good for the 76ers: It is clear that Iggy is getting them no where fast and there has been a lot of rumors about him on the block. This trade gives them a little cap space for the offseason along with servicable players in Harrington and Garcia.
Why is it bad for the 76ers: They lose Iggy.
Any improvements over the last trade? Any suggestions for this trade?

It could be ok, but I didn't look really.
Seriuosly… trying to break down a random 4 team fantasy trade idea makes me just go to another thread that’s simpler.

I've seen you propose this before
Why would you wanna trade a PG/ co-captain of a 19-14 team averaging 18ppg and 9apg, and a three-point specialist (who although injured), is becoming very adept at scoring off the dribble for…
A PG averaging like 13ppg and 7apg and a sloppy, injury-prone power forward, who may have moments of brilliance, but has never reached his potential who plays for a team in the depths of the Eastern Conference.
Sorry, but that idea is terrible
can someone explain why they are saying absolutely not to this trade?
I am just wondering because when I look at it from a Knicks perspective it is great. BTW, the Hollinger analysis:
Knicks: +7 wins
Kings: -2 Losses
Nuggets: -3 Losses
76ers: -4 losses
This is the only deal I could put together that involved the Knicks getting Carmelo and not having the nuggets go -10 to -12 on the Hollinger analysis.

Hollinger's analysis goes solely on PER
Furthermore, know this. Anytime you start throwing around tons of draft picks in your projected trade that usually means the trade is unfairly balanced and won’t happen.
Plus you gave Randolph to both the Nuggets and the Sixers.
The Nuggets want more first round picks, players less so. Especially overpaid Iggy.
Also, the Sixers wouldn’t accept that trade.
Problem is these trades easily benefit the Knicks more than the other teams
Just because teams save some money and gain a draft pick or two doesn;t mean the trade is good for them.
Not every team is looking to ship off their best guys to save money and rebuild.
And just adding player after player into the trades doesn’t necessarily make it better.

I dont think the Knicks even have that many picks
Also, like the others said, Hollinger’s analyses are not entirely accurate, they just go off of numbers and statistics, and not all teams wana just throw away their seasons.
I say absolutely not to this trade because it really blows up our team which is winning right now. I’m okay with doing a smaller trade to get a backup PG or center, but this really blows half of what Walsh has been doing the past two years. Also, the Knicks would almost never give up Fields. They’d trade Felton before Fields I believe
No sense to trading Fields, he is so cheap.
Resigning RFA Chandler makes so much sense since Carmelo
@ $25 mil is not that much better than Chandler @ say $8 mil.
Iguadalo for Curry & Gallinari might make sense if his achilles
foot is a temporary problem.
Knicks still need some size-maybe 6-9 Carl Landry can be used
as a backup to Chandler.
thanks for the input
I really like Landry. I really don’t want this trade but I would like to make a deal with the Kings of Landry and Jeter.
