D'Atnoni knows what he is doing and YOU are NOT better than him. Worse coach in the NBA is still better than you and I am willing to bet my house on it.
First off, sadly, I missed the game but from looking at the stats and articles the last two days, no doubt he had a wonderful games. Shockingly (not really) some people are giving D'Antoni the credit for being patience with him but overall everyone thinks he should have played Mosgov sooner. There are chatters that D'Antoni played him b/c he HAD too since Chander is injured, Turiaf in foul trouble and Shawnee is out with the suspension. In my opinion, D'Antoni chose to play him. Playing against Piston is a way to go, I think I can put up 10 and 5 against them playing center and I am 5'8. Then again, maybe not but a guy can dream right? Anyway, I doubt if he'll see significant minutes if it's was against the Magic. Dwight Howard can be scary. BTW, remember that dunk Blake posterized Mosgov? Talking about confidence killer?
Again, I am not here to defend D'Antoni but he knows his roster the best. If you been following Mosgov's progress then you know there are reports that Mosgov was getting real close to be back int he rotation. With the injure it may causes D'Antoni to play Mosgov or if you prefer "Mosgod" after last night game a little bit sooner. It is funny, very funny for fans and a lot of you (yes you and not me) think you know better than D'Antoni. A lot of fans were quick to jump to bury the coach for not playing AR or Mosgov. The patience approached with Mosgov is paying off. Both D'Antoni and Walsh think the world of Mosgov then they signed him and D'Antoni thought enough of him to start at the season begin just to realize that even though Mosgov has talent but NBA is overwhelming for him. He needed to be broken down to build back up. I watched him at the World Championship where the game allow more physical plays, Mosgov played well. He can do a lot of things and for a 7 footer he can do a lot of thing. Most noticeably he has shown the ability to get open. It was only a matter of time when he get used to the speed of the NBA, the rules, the calls and language. For any of you who has never have to adapt to the new culture, I can tell you it's tough. I experience first hand how tough it is to have to learn a culture and language. As you can tell from my writing, it's not perfect and English is my second language, so trust me when I say it's tough.
Mosgov is just starting to show what he can do. No doubt that there will be days when he struggle but there will be days where he'll excel. Hopefully after last night game, he'll has the confidence to have a successful second half. Again, the coach knows what is best for his team and what player can't and can do. Please stop thinking you know better than the coach. I am willing to put my house on worst coach in NBA knows better than you. I am sorry, please check your ego if you think you know better than an NBA coach. Then again if you think you are better then your ego is probably checking you and not the other way around.
Well that's it for my rant today. I am trying to provoke some thoughts and practice my English every day so do comments guys.
