defend your argument in 3 or fewer lines...

here's an experimental post. give it a shot. the following scenarios seem to keep popping up and provoking the most animated debates... so i thought i'd post them so dudes can defend their preference and take full credit if and when theirs happens.

1) walsh trades some package of non-starters (all players except for ray, landry, gallo, chandler, stat) for useful expiring big and/or backup pg

2) walsh trades some package of non-starters for useful player(s) with 2 or 1 years left on contract (to maintain flexibility when CP3, Dwill and Dwight hit the market)

3) walsh unloads to get melo

4) walsh does nothing and waits until next year to pay free agents

i may be missing some scenarios, but these seem to me to be the most likely.

in 3 or fewer lines (i know, a challenge given all of our propensities to get too wordy) choose your preference and explain why you think it's the best idea. if you choose option 1 or 2, you may write the names of the players with expiring or 2 year contracts you would most like to see.

i'll start, in 3 lines:

my preference would be scenario 1. this allows us to maintain cap flexibility for next year, instead of waiting 2 years and risking a diminished stat while also developing our youngs and team chemistry. guys i'd like to trade our non-starters for include dalembert, k. humphries, j. richardson, l. barbosa, etan thomas, ronnie price, pat mills, t. ford.
