That’s the kind of irrational exuberance you usually don’t see outside of this blog. If Jerome Jordan could come over here and give us 15 minutes per game at center and not totally suck, that would be really awesome for us.

ROY? Sheridan is smoking his lunch.
Look I was one of the first to give Donnie props for going out and getting the raw 7 footer and stashing him over in Europe, and I have even seen some of the kids games this year and saw some nice things, but i also saw a guy who is gonna need major work to be a consistent contributor in the NBA. Jordan came to basketball late and has progressed quickly for a guy who never even picked up a ball until he was 16. He has a soccer background and there fore has pretty quick feet for a big man that will translate well once he learns how to play the game better. The fact that he schooled Jonas Valanciunas who Sheridan loves by the way, only proves what I said about the kid all along he is overrated. ROY is unrealistic, this kid is not as far along as Mozzie was last year, and it took Mozzie a full training camp and half a season before he could play anything resembling productive basketball for us. If Jordan can come to camp, show enough to make the team, and become a guy who can maybe fill in and give us some solid minutes at some point during the season then I would consider his rookie campaign a success. Let’s not overhype the guy it will be hard enough for him to adjust to the NBA game.
