D'Antoni didn't sound as if the Knicks are interested in Michael Redd: "It’s not really position we’re looking for."
D'Antoni added "We’d like to have a little bit bigger guy that can go back to the four some. "
I'm pretty tired of following free agency rumors, but this gives you some sense of the Knicks' direction (an appropriate one, I think).

I think you might be right.
I’d prefer the former, as I think Posey might be done in the NBA, while I think Murphy might have something left.
Who knows, though. Powe is still out there, and although I haven’t seen him operate a lot recently, from what I remember he can draw a ton of fouls. Any scoring in the second unit is welcome to me, so that sounds good too.
heard he's practicing with the Lakers

I'd be down with a lot of these bros
Bostjan Nachbar, Maurice Evans, Travis Outlaw, Troy Murphy, Leon Powe….
Any of them would fill needs on this team

This is good to hear.
I’m glad Pringles wants someone else who can spot at 4. I think that’s the biggest remaining hole.
Please no Nachbar though. I’d like someone who can defend a little. In his last season with the Nets, opposing 4s averaged 18 and 8 per 36 minutes against Boki, and that was in his athletic prime.
Powe in limited minutes last year did not fare any better, though he is only 27 at least. Murphy seemed marginally better defensively in his time with the Celtics and Nets, but the difference might be negligible. Outlaw actually looks like he’s been worse than all of them. Reggie Evans is good defensively, but a black hole on offense.
I think I’m leaning Murphy. His upside is worth the risk. Convince him that we’re on the upswing and the Lakers are on the downswing!
gimme baron davis
and i really don’t care what other semi-scrubs we sign

Is D'Antoni out of his mind
If you have the chance to get a player like Redd Dogg, you take that chance.

he didn't look that great last season
but i thought redd and d’antoni were tight, so i’m a little surprised we haven’t shown much interest in him
