baked thoughts - preseason game 1

the knicks won against a crappy nets team tonight. Its a game they should have won, but the fact that they did gave me a nice sigh of relief.

Thoughts about the game:

- first look, i would run bibby and dwtdd together, then iMan and landry. I feel like bibby and toney compliment each other. One has run an offence about two billion times and can get the good players the ball and the other can run hard on defense and hit some shots. iMan is almost too confident. Third person in their first televised experience? Awesome. That can rub off on landry some, the flashy kid from Chicago and the laid back kid from southern California. its the odd couple of 2012.

- I thought landry did well. I was doin stuff during the game, but when I looked up he was hitting some shots and not being horrible. Game 1. it doesnt have to be perfect.

- Our front line is good. Its almost silly. How did that happen? Thank you basketball gods. I appreciate what you have thus given me and will not take it for granted.

- duh. balkman. how did I not see this. he was good for us. he was. seriously. google the man. He fits what we need from the bench really well. Also, can we start calling him Blankman? I mean, would it surprise any of you to find out he was secretly a superhero nerd?
