Marbury doing well

Should be noted that he's led his team to a 13-0 record in the much improved Chinese CBA. Beijing doesn't have the talent or especially the budget of other teams in the league, but you can't argue with the results.

All indications are he's turned himself into a real leader and a very efficient player.

Maybe the lightbulb finally came on? You can't ever really rule that out when it comes to these ridiculously talented guys. Sometimes its a mental thing, and he seems to be in a very good place right now.

I'm watching him play right now!

He has one foreign teammate but I have no idea who it is!

Follow up question

How many Knicks point guards would have to get hurt before wanting him back?

no way

too much baggage. if he comes back into the NBA, i would hope its for a smaller market, with less media distraction. I could see a city like Portland or Denver being a nice place for him (not really thinking about team makeup, more city/media makeup).

I wish him well, and its nice to see that he is in a good place. He is a fellow knick fan, so I cant hate on teh man.

But no. We finally have a basketball team and not a circus show. Lets keep the distractions elsewhere.

I think it was Bobby V who said: "You are never as good as you are when you are at your best, and you are not as bad as when you are at your worst."

don't be fooled

he’s the same god-awful player the Celtics didn’t want back. he still can’t shoot and doesn’t have half the athleticism he had in his prime. he’s done…

I'm Dreaming of a Starbury Christmas...

I had a dream last night. Marbury joing the Knicks in late April after Baron (back), Bibby (back) TD (shoulder) have all winded up on the injured list and the Knicks have already secured the second seed in the East and Marbury agrees to join the Knicks for their 2.5 mil exception which he donates entirely to charity and here is our roster going into playoffs…
Shumpert…….Marbury
Landry…………Walker…….Green
Anthony……….Balkman
Stroudemire….Harrelson
Chandler……….Jordan…….Jeffries
The papers and ESPN go crazy with Starbury back n the fold and his play on the court exemplifies all we ever wanted out of him as a leader. His exodus to China has in fact humbled him and the lack of wear and tear on his body the past few years gives him fresh legs for the playoff run. The rest of the team accepts him because although they murdered the league during the better part of the season, they reverted back to a headless chicken once the three point guards went down and Marbury came in and hit the open man, took it to the hole and played good defense. It was during the conference finals against the Heat with Marbury on Wade when I woke up….

Go NY!! Go NY!! Go
