Thank You Knick Fans
I love Knick fans. As a pretty heavy blog and article reader for this team (for the last few years at least) I can say that I've seen both the good and bad of our fanship. I admit that it becomes a headache to hear people go back and forth on what he or she thinks is best for the team. But honestly, I yearn for the arguments because otherwise, I'd have nothing to read.
I think there's one thing we can all agree on, Knick fans are great at being passionate. This team has a lot of openings for criticism and this city is filled with people ready to dish it.
We have everybody...
Blind Faith - "The Knicks are going to take it all this year."
Trade expert* - "Why don't we just trade A'mare and Fields for Deron?"
Occupy MSG - "Down with Dolan! He ruins everything!"
Conspiracy theorist - "Isiah had something to do with this."
Stuck in the future - "We should sign Rajon Rondo in 2015."
Stuck in the past - "We should've drafted Rajon Rondo."
...I could go on and on.
So I just wanted to take this time to thank you guys for existing. Because at least when the Knicks disappoint me on the floor, I can look forward to some good (and bad) commentary from true followers. Not to mention when they do well, it's great to see all the optimism come out of the woodwork. Honestly, when they do well, other than the usual blogs and articles, I end up watching the game, post-game, ESPN analysis and NBA TV analysis to bask in it. Does that make me crazy?
*I just thought I'd mention. I think our "trade experts" are on a higher lever than I've ever seen these past few years. Between the huge free agency season and the recent CBA debacle, a lot of people know more than just the numbers (i.e. MLE, player vs team options, yada yada yada).

You forgot Dziedzic
That man deserves his own category.
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.
Vince Lombardi
I also bask in it
Or at least I try to. Sometimes it feels like it’s hard to get the media to say nice things about NY. Unless they’re shilling imaginary player movement to the city for ratings.
Fish Fingers give me a break.
