Knicks tickets

Who plans to get season tickets? I read they'll go on sale tomorrow.

I know prices supposedly went up a lot, but the Knicks should have a great team and the Garden is getting a big makeover.

I don't know how they fit all the changes into the Garden. To anyone who's been there lately, is it currently better than it was?

Wait a minute

They got rid of the walkways and made the rows wider. So it should be harder to change your seats but the vendors should block your view much less often, right?

going to the 2 preseason games vs the Nets…not paying for anything, I have a “connection” thankfully, paying for preseason in any sport is a ripoff…I’ll report back w any observations. From what I’ve heard it’s just ridiculous how great things look at MSG.

I don’t have season tickets but plan on doing my usual 8-12 games a year. Last year I would usually wind up paying slightly above face on stubhub, but this season I’m expecting the markup to be much higher.

after the carmelo trade I sold $20 tickets for $100

I usually do around 5 games, but I think I’ll try for the full 33 games this time. The Nets preseason games last season were pretty entertaining, and Jordan Farmar was a pest. But real games are still much better.

Yeah when I said

slightly above face that was obviously pre-Melo. Post-Melo I’m sure were through the roof, as I’m sure this year will be.

I don’t remember the preseason games last yr, but I’m in NJ and only a 10 minute ride from Newark and went to Knicks/Nets last year there. No Amare that night unfortunately but Knicks won pretty handily from what I remember. Nice arena there.

I greatly dislike the Newark arena

It’s a long walk from transportation to the arena. Security made me throw out my chicken roll. Then my seats which were supposed to be good and near the action, were on creaky and annoying metal rafters.

My dad and I went to a Nets game last year since it’s so much cheaper and we almost got mugged by three separate Portuguese gypsy gangs on the way there.

I really hope I get to go to an MSG game this year.

My mom doesn’t give a shit about the Knicks, but she says she want to go just because of the atmosphere. That tells you all you need to know about how famous the Garden is.

Man I wanted to get tickets to the Christmas game since I’m only gonna be in NYC for one day and the 12 noon game fit perfectly in my schedule but I highly doubt i can afford it. I moved to Northern Va so I hope to score some tickets when they come to town and play the Wizards. I remember a pretty big Knicks following in the games last season.
