What do you guys think about the Nets reentering Melo talks?

Should the Knicks be worried about this? What does it mean for them? Will we have to offer more now?

I think it’s just another lie unless he is willing to sign with Nets, play on the team until they move to Brooklyn and maybe sign CP3. That is the only way I could see him doing it but that’s a lot of what ifs. I don’t believe it because he would have gone to the Nets in the summer when he first refused to sign the extension in Denver. Who would he rather have on his team, Stat or Lopez? Would he rather team up with CP3 and Stat in NY or Brook Lopez in NJ? I rather get him through free agency but I am okay trading for him if it’s the only way to get him. We need him and we owe it to Stat or we just wasted seasons to save money and get nothing but a barely above 500 team. In that case, Stat wasted his talent coming here and only made his money but never won a ring.
