I haven't seen such a polarizing player for a while now. It has been bugging me for a while and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. A LOT of people think he plays well, yet A LOT of people think otherwise. Each side has its points but really really weird that he is this polarizing figure. Even David Lee is not this polarized. Is it a stereo type that white player can't D or just Gallo case? I don't know if race preference or not?
I do think it's a preference of ethnic groups play role this in polarizing matter. I am creating a poll to help answer my question, if you have time please vote. Also Seth and everyone , I know when it come to race it's a sensitive issue, so if you offended please let me know and I will delete this post. My only intention is to try to figure out why he is so polarized and I think a certain ethnic group's preference in playing style that lead to such polarizing effect. No ill intention here.
Udates: As of 2/4/11 results. OTHER has the highest percentage a near perfect. I wonder how many in OTHER are Italian. I think we can conclude that race has little to do with liking Gallo or not. Again, please do not take this as a racist issue, but rather just a preference of certain ethnic groups over playing style.
