Ok, so for the past 11 hours I've been sitting in the corner of my room rocking back and forth, deep in thought.
With my mind racing, I've been wondering why we would trade our entire core for a player who wants nothing but to play in New York. My conclusion about 15 minutes ago is, it's simply not true. In fact, I believe that this trade proposal is just set out there to ward off any prospective team (LA, Houston & Dallas) from even considering a re-entry into this entire ordeal. With our successful smokescreen, we can force Denver to realize that we're Carmelo's only suiters. At which point they will take the cock out of their sight. (gallinari of course) ... sorry that wasn't necessary lol..
I mean, It seems awfully strange that our entire front office is extremely mum while this ridiculous offer stands.. Donnie Walsh is no fool.. I trust his judgement and believe that Dolan is not as big a villain as we all think he is. Besides, if Walsh was being undermined, I'm pretty sure a "source" would be screaming foul play to the rabid dogs that is NY media.
It all just seems too ridiculous. I mean, literally 90% of readers have agreed that this trade offer is insane. So why would the front office of our team think otherwise?
