With all of our cap room and flexibility pretty much gone, this team for better or worse, is who we are going to be for the next couple of years. Tweaking the lineup is all we can do at this point. I don't see how we add another superstar, or even if one is necessary.
We don't have draft picks unless we buy em. DWTDD worked out pretty good and obviously The Landryman was the best pick in last year's draft. Can Donnie do it again? I wouldn't put it past him, but at the same time don't hold your breath.
The new CBA is going to make it tougher for players to move around so barring a miracle of biblical proportions we aint going to see Dwight in orange and blue. I don't see how we keep the Landryman after next year.
So as I see it the future is now. Can we do it?
- Boston just got weaker
- Orlando looks like they are imploding
- The big three in Miami look less formidable than we first thought.
- L.A. OKC, or the Texas teams are gonna be tough but we would just have to play one of them.
I think it's doable.
