chemistry is not the problem, depth is-

The Knicks are a 4 man team. No center and no 6th man,  Turiaf is totally inadequate as a center and Douglas is unreliable as a 6th. (2 points last night). It's a sign of their desperation that Jared Jeffries and Earl Baron are being considered. Last night was an embarrasment for sure, but it was also an indication of things to come.

The rebounding was poor because rebounding requires a team effort by 5 players, not 4, and  Jeffries will not solve that problem. The failure here is the inability to sign a defensive stopper. The big 3 will score 80 points, but will give up 85. The big 3 will also be logging 40  minutes + a game, and if just one is hurt, the Knicks won't even make the playoffs. Obviously Dolan did not think about these issues when he forced this trade. i can not believe that Donnie and D'Antoni wanted this trade..
