This might be a little late to have meaning, but I still wanted to share it with those of the crazies that would enjoy such a thing. I've been an obsessed Knicks fan for a long time, buying single game tickets and mini-plans all during the 2000's. I didn't get to see many of the great 90's games because I was still in High School, but I was there for the retiring of Ewing's jersey, Amar'e's 1st game, and now this. I was also at Steph's fist game, which was supposed to be a big deal, but they quickly went down 24-2 to the Rockets, and we should known then.
But I've never seen or felt anything like this. The outside "mall" where they sell T-shirts was packed 30 minutes before tipoff. Almost every seat was already filled during layup lanes, and the crowd was chanting defense from the opening tip. Add to that the fact that it was Legend's Night, and it was just a fantastic and moving night to be a part of.
The video quality isn't so great, but the sheer noise of it all still makes this a worthwhile watch, well at least to me. Watch below or click here for the link. Enjoy!
