Although I have been a Knick fan most of my life I moved to Hawaii in the 80's and so couldn't really follow the team very closely until the advent of the internets and subsequent development of the blog format. I must admit that I tuned out during the Isiah years and mostly followed Pac-10 basketball..

Two big things that influenced me to join P&T were the run up to The Decision and last year's draft. When the knicks took The Landryman with the 39th pick I was ecstatic because I had followed him somewhat and seen him go off against my favorite team(UCLA) several times. I was one of a few commenters, there were others, who thought the Knicks might have struck gold with Landry. In any case June 24th 2010, before the summer of LeBron, before STAT's $100 million,  I jumped onto  P&T. 

I must admit that I have never enjoyed rooting for a team as much as this year's Knicks. I have also become addicted to this blog and the many great opinions that appear here so often.
