What up Knick fans...I'm back! I'm currently doing a project where I am doing 30 illustrations (1 player from each of the 30 teams) over 30 days. I decided to kick the project off with your Carmelo Anthony (seeing as he kicked off the FA frenzy it just felt right).

Yeah, I was trying a new style on that one…with doing a new illustration every day and each one taking about 6 hours and trying to juggle my day job, wife and kid I don’t have a lot of time for trial and error. Funny though, some have said they really like it while it really bugs others. Oh well, keep moving forward.

they probably like the gradient

Which works somewhat to convey the lighting of a head, but the length or depth of his hair isn’t apparent. He kinda of looks like he is balding with brown hair, when he just has short black hair.
