The Future of The PG Position

Stay connected for news and updates

This season the Knicks have been blessed with great PG play, the best since Walt was running the point in the 70's and that may have more to do with us being a playoff team than anything else, But Billups has a player option and even if picked up he still expires next year.

There are 3 (or 4) main options what to do when that happens, Obviously the best case scenario would be to trade for (or sign) Chris Paul (or Deron Williams) but with the new CBA this may not be possible :( that leaves us with plans B and C, which arnt so bad themselfs.

There has been recent talk of extending Chauncy Billups, an idea which I strongly rejected at first but since have come to embrace...yes, at 34 he is no spring chicken, but i do think he has as much gas in the tank and tread on the tires as Kidd and Nash had at 34, i do believe he will be able to play at his current level until 38

Plan C would be to pick up Billups option for next year, and bring Felton back in 2012. I think he has won over the hearts of Knicks fans during his time here and is more of a long term option than Billups, he had great chemistry with Stoudemire and would be a great replacment for his replacment (if that made any sence)

So who would you want to be our PG in 2012 and beyond? CP3/Dwill, Billups or Felton and why?
