MDA has all but assured that he'll most likely roll with a 8 (maybe 9) man rotation. So lets don our Guesstimation Goggles and try to figure out what that rotation will be. Or at least what we hope it to be.
5) Turiaf (if healthy)
DWTDD -- if anybody is a lock for big minutes off the bench its Toney.
Extra E -- Continues the corner poopin.
Bill Walker -- I think he's all but assured himself some post season burn. He's a threat from 3, can slash to the rim, and he's much improved defensively.
Carter (aka CAHTAH!!!) -- he brings a spark off the bench and often creates runs with his pesky defense. Really like when he and TD are on the floor together and they hassle ball handlers and generate turn over sprees.
Jeffries -- and we'll continue to try to figure out why. But he'll at least get a few minutes per game, which will increase with Turiaf's inevitable injury.
She-Will? -- and we'll continue to try to figure out why he's not playing more (if he plays at all), since he's the only interior post presence besides Turiaf and he's far less inhibitive to the offense than Jeffries. But Turiaf is bound to pull up lame and MDA's hand will be forced.
And thats it. I can't see MDA playing anybody else. I think our post-season success is largely dependent on how well Douglas and Walker perform offensively. Stat, Melo and Billups are gonna do their thing and take turns taking over the game. But the key will be what secondary/tertiary scorer(s) steps up drains open buckets (particularly 3s). I'm expecting both guys to contribute at home, especially Douglas. I'm curious to see how these 2 in particular respond to playing playoff basketball in hostile territory on the road, however. If they can step up, we'll win the series easy. If they flop, it'll be over quickly.
