Postgame Thread: Celtics 87, Knicks 85

BOSTON, MA - APRIL 17: Ray Allen #20 of the Boston Celtics passes the ball as Ronny Turiaf #14 of the New York Knicks defends in Game One of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in the 2011 NBA Playoffs on April 17, 2011 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Well, that was the one to win, and the Knicks let it slip away. An excellent first half on both ends put New York up 12 at halftime, but as expected, they fell off considerably in the latter two quarters. After a miserable third quarter, Amar'e Stoudemire's dominant fourth and a big shot from Toney Douglas had the Knicks in a position to win, but it wasn't in the cards. Carmelo Anthony, who was dreadful in the second half, committed a charge and missed the potential game-winner in the final minute, while Stoudemire didn't get his touches down the stretch. Chauncey Billups went down with some sort of leg injury in the fourth.

I am ill. Recap to come once I collect myself.
