Interesting mention from Berman today.  I have a feeling that in this case the 'Knicks Interest' constitutes Berman doing a favor for a kid he likes who's on the bubble.  But still, it seems like this kid might be a good pick.

Here's an interesting little ditty that speaks to the kid's swagger.

Here's another look from Draft Express.

What's interesting about this draft is that the top 4 point guard prospects (Kyrie Irving, Brandon Knight, Kemba Walker, and Jimmer Fredette) are all comboish and seem to have deficiencies as point guard prospects, and yet, there seem to be a good number of guys that could turn out to be steals at the point guard position.  Honestly, I could see this guy turning out to be a better pro than Brandon Knight or Kyrie Irving.

Jenkins seems to me to be a smart, good attitude kid, hard worker, prolific scorer.  Size-wise, he's strong, 220 lbs and 6'3"... to me he passes the 'Starks test' as far as minimum size for a shooting guard, but to me what's intriguing is that although he's a really good one on one scorer, he doesn't seem to relish taking a lot of shots (averaged only 14.5 per game) and seems more interested in getting other guys involved.  Can he play the point for D'antoni?  Those that have seen him play (there must be a bunch of youse out there), chime in.  At this point, the guy is projecting anywhere from early second round to undrafted.
