stars are fun to watch... but depth wins championships.

had to do it... couldn't help myself.

but the argument for depth over stars remains, and what the mavs accomplished provides even stronger evidence that stars are fun to watch... but depth wins championships.

2 is more than enough... and in the case of the mavs, 1 was enough because of who surrounded him, and who was coaching them.

so bicker about it boys...

make your claims and spit your venom...

but when it's all said and done, the ring is the thing, and for many of us...  winning it the "right way" matters.

the mavs were a sight to see. their unity. their chemistry. their grit, their individual journeys and their collective effort... and it's what i want for our knicks. a coach who cares, players who work and an owner who learns from mistakes.

so let's keep drafting well and signing intelligently... and let's prioritize team over box office draw...

but you may disagree.
