Firstly, let me apologise, this isnt basketball related, but with the STUPID lockout in place there isnt much to talk about.

Myself and my girlfriend are visiting NY from the UK next month and i was wondering if you lovely people could provide any recommendations for stuff to do whilst we're over for a week.

Ideally the lockout will get sorted so we can get tickets for the Heat game (it's our last night in NYC, so would be a great send off - especially my 100% record of seeing the knicks win (1 from 1) continues.

We've also got tickets sorted for Rangers v Sens game, and a helicopter flight over manhattan booked, so looking forward to those, but was looking for some bars/restaurants/places that you guys would recommend.

Finally, I shall be popping the question whilst over there so any suggestions as to where would be a good place to do that would be gratefully received.
