Around SBN: Bob Sapp Denies Throwing Fights

As reported on @MSGNetworks during SAC game #Knicks asst. Coach Kenny Atkinson told me he took 2 of ToneyDouglas' good games last year (vs N.O. & MEM) & clips of all his great pick & roll passes, edited them w video coord as a VISUAL reminder Toney CAN facilitate plays & make good shots. Coaches have confidence in Douglas because he has done this before & see his early struggles as just a small sample. Douglas IS feeling pressure &was thinking too much in 1st 3 games, causing hesitation.

The most excellent Tina Cervasio posted this in the form of several tweets (and apparently reported it during the game. I still have yet to watch.)

whats MSG networks?

I wouldn’t know since Time Warner BLACKED ME OUT TODAY!!! shit just got real

I felt this way previously

It’s just that going into his 3rd year I’d expect him to be more ready out of the gates. I would have liked that but I guess with rehab and the late addition of Chandler a wrench gets thrown into preparation.

I hope he can do this because all I know is that we need for him to be able to facilitate consistently against good and bad teams alike.

msg protest at tomorow's game

nonstop “Dolan sucks” chants or something better if there are any ideas

by nynobis on Jan 1, 2012 5:43 PM EST reply actions

this is absurd

the Knicks have had a few bad games (I’ve been critical too), but they’re still 2-2 in a lockout shortened season. and chances are they will get better. and if you’re gonna hate on anybody, it shouldn’t be Dolan – he’s done just about everything you could expect of an owner recently.

so basically, get that protest shit outta here, take it to zucotti or something.

You seem to have missed the point

The protest has nothing to do with the Knicks. It’s that MSG blacked out Time Warner cable because they want a huge rate increase. And since they’re basically owned by Cablevision they’re using that to try to get people to switch.

No can do

I happen to think that it’s Novak that should be rocking the stache for this team. But we can agree to disagree.
