Not to be an alarmist or another overly reactionary fan... oh wait, I am, as are many of us fans.
But last night sucked (the opposite of shumped... who by the way, also sucked, except for his steals) and I am of the mindset that we are not currently constructed well enough to get through the season, let alone get anywhere in the playoffs.
Melo and stat chemistry aside (which is of paramount concern and debatability)... and coach D'antoni aside (who is of equal concern and debatability)... there must be tweaks that can be made to minimize the likelihood that games like last nights happen again, and that can keep us afloat should one of our big guns (i suppose stat is included in the "big gun" category) go down to injury (knock on wood... pause).
I open with Rasheed Wallace (replacing Novak as our big shooter... who also has a ton of other skills and experience and chops) who is reportedly considering a comeback (and who I mentioned in previous posts). Rasheed, Tyson, Jorts and Stat is a damn good 4-man big rotation... even at Sheeds advanced age.
Who else is out there to add a ball handler? Mike James anyone?
