I just want to thank the entire P&T community and our glorious overlord Seth for not indulging in the Dwight nonsense that sprouts up every couple of days or weeks because the Post and Daily News run out of things to write about the Knicks or one of Chris Broussard's taskmasters demanded he try to get someone (like the Lakers) to ante up.

It is clearly nonsense. Everyone knows it. And yet everyone writes about it and talks about it. It all over the papers, the web, the radio, etc.

Today my mom felt the need to bring up a possible Dwight for Amar'e and Chandler trade to me. She had overheard co-workers talking about it. I had to explain to her that it was complete garbage that people had pulled out of their collective asses and it was never going to happen.

But more importantly I was struck by how foreign the concept even was to me. It was as if I had never heard anyone suggest the possibility before even though countless columnists and personalities have. The reason is because I so rarely come across any of the Dwight talk because I spend most of my Knicks celebrating and commiserating and these days mostly weeping while trying to stay away from sharp objects here among my favorite P&T bros.

This place is a haven away from bullshit rumors built on nothing and filled with Emus. It truly is a paradise.
