The Knicks Roster as Movies from 2011

Okay so I was just comparing some of the current Knicks squad to movies of the past year in my head, so I decided to do it for all of them and I enjoyed it so I figured I'd share my picks with my favoritest Knick bros ever, the P&T community.

Warning: I came up with this in like 5 minutes so some will fit better than others

Melo - Drive

Because he's a cold blooded badass, that's why.

Amar'e - Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

As loathe as I am to compare Amar'e to anything Michael Bay has been anywhere near, let alone had a hand in, the similarities between STAT and Optimus Prime are too many to be denied. Plus, as Family Guy taught us, Optimus is Jewish, just like Amar'e.

Tyson Chandler - Thor

Because Tyson slams the hammer down! Also, frequent yelling. (I thought about Fast Five for Bison because he's a fast 5, but that seemed corny).

Landry Fields - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Little known fact: Landry actually attended Hogwarts before going to Stanford. (If y'all don't like this pick we can go with The Lion King which was re=released into theaters, I think Landry would make a killer Simba).

Shump Shump - Limitless

I think the title is self explanatory.

Shump is already 50 moves ahead of everyone else.

Mike Bibby - Captain America: The First Avenger

Because Mike Bibby is the only current Knick to have fought in World War II. He also, was, until recently believed to be dead until he was brought back to life as a man out of time.

Toney Douglas - Contagion

Because when he's on the court our offense looks very very sickly. It seems to infect all other players.

Renaldo Balkman - Your Highness

Obviously

Jorts - Kung Fu Panda 2

This just feels right. He's a bit oddly shaped and plodding, but he's DIRT STRONG and eventually conquers all.

Bill Walker - Jack and Jill

Because he always makes so many mistakes. Such horrible horrible mistakes. I have to look away!

Steve Novak - The Muppets

Because I'm pretty sure he's an actual muppet.

Jared Jeffries - Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked

Because he's currently Chipwrecked himself. Also, he's completely pointless, but he does have one exemplary skill (the ability to draw charges) just like Alvin and the Chipmunks has David Cross.

Jerome Jordan - X-men: First Class

He has the abilities, he just needs to learn how to harness them.

Jeremy Lin - The Adjustment Bureau

Because he's still adjusting to his new team.

Boom Dizzle is currently The Sitter, but when he gets better he'll be The Help. Hopefully he'll be In Time. (See what I did there?)
