Riveting preseason action!
Hey, that was fun! The Knicks started off tonight's game at Nassau Coliseum pretty disastrously. Tyson Chandler went down with a knee injury almost immediately, opening New York's paint up to all kinds of destruction from the driving Nets. The game evolved into a pretty pleasant back-and-forth between the two clubs, though, culminating in a pretty exciting battle of camp invites that extended into an overtime. We might've even had two if MarShon Brooks hadn't missed the game-tying layup.
Carmelo Anthony recovered from an awful start, Raymond Felton took some bad shots but had a productive night, Pablo Prigioni and Chris Copeland continued to look fantastic, and some of those camp invites had splendid last hurrahs. I'll miss those rugrats.
'Twas an enjoyable night, and I'll have a full recap up later. Let's just hope Tyson's banged knee is okay (it really didn't look like much) and...look forward to the regular season, I guess?
