I just have to say, I love Sheed. He's one of those characters that only exists in the NBA. I'm so happy to have him aboard. Let's be honest, he's not going to be playing. If he's playing, someone's been injured. He's here just to scowl angrily at people when they run away from Kurt Thomas' scowling, so that they're trapped in an old dude angry scowl netherworld where they're forced to face all the ferocity that a 38-year-old and a 40-year-old can manage.

Sheed just makes me happy. I've always been a fan of his. And now every game will have added drama because there's a real possibility someone might punch a ref.

You know how the refs called that bogus flagrant on Tyson during the playoffs last year? Well, if that happens this year we can send Sheed in to get a legitimate flagrant. Basically he can be like a hockey goon.

And he just makes me laugh. This entire team has a lot of characters who are, let's say, phenomenally entertaining. Sheed's just another one added to the mix.

Okay, so Kidd isn't funny and seems completely awful, but everyone else is really great. Some of my favorite basketbros are back, and even Ronnie Brewer seems like a good dude.

Sheed is icing on the cake.

Did you see that "AW NAW" Seth linked to yesterday? I've replayed it roughly 60 times. It's my favorite thing in the world right now. A season full of moments like that is more than worth a minimum contract.
