Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

You can get away with a lot if you just hit your threes, apparently.

Good lord. The Knicks didn't remotely deserve that win with the effort they gave on defense and the way they played around the basket, but an unbelievable 45-point game from Carmelo Anthony, near perfection behind the arc from Jason Kidd, and team-wide 14-28 three-point shooting is apparently enough to make up for uniformly hideous defense and a couple awful individual performances against the Nets.

We will take it. Absolutely. Recap later.
