Pre-Game: Knicks vs. Bulls

The Knicks play the Bulls tonight at 7:30

Hey! Our Knicks are playing the Bulls tonight at 7:30 on both MSG (it's Friday...) and NBA TV. This is game five of a six-game homestand and game two in the season series against Chicago. You probably remember how that last one went. The Bulls completely shut down the offense of the Carmelo Anthony-less Knicks. It was an ugly, ugly game in which Marco Belinelli (and all manner of backdoor cuts and stuff) dominated and Raymond Felton shot 9-30. J.R. Smith and Jason Kidd had rough games as well.

This time, Melo's back and in the normal starting lineup, albeit playing on a bad ankle. Taj Gibson, who got ejected from that last game, is a game-time decision following a sprained ankle of his own, but expects to play. Steve Novak, who missed the last game with the flu, will play. Marcus Camby and Rasheed Wallace will not, though Camby did get on the court this morning.

Cool. The Bulls are a tough, tough defense, but the Knicks are a pretty great offense when Carmelo Anthony's around. It sure would be great if they could avenge that loss and notch that twentieth win. Game thread soon!
