Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

See you in February, Raymond.

After Raymond Felton himself suggested that he might need surgery and might miss 4-6 weeks after fracturing his right pinky, we finally have an official announcement from the Knicks. Al Iannazzone:

Knicks announce Felton won't need surgery on fractured pinkie. But he will be in a splint to stabilize it and will miss 4-6 weeks.

A bit more from Marce Berman:

Knicks calling it a complex fracture after visit with hande specialist.

And here's Ray:

Thank you to everyone for your kind words through this injury. It means a lot. But still goes on. I will be back in a few weeks.

So, expect Jason Kidd to start at the one for the next month or so. Expect Pablo Prigioni to see an uptick in minutes and guys like J.R. Smith, Carmelo Anthony, and Iman Shumpert (once he returns) to handle the ball a bit more.

Speaking of Melo and his hyper-extended knee:

As for Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks are listing him as questionable for tomorrow's game. Team hopes to know more in the morning.

Still kinda ominous. Let's hope for the best. Feel better, guys.
