Sans Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks fell to the Bulls in an ugly, ugly game in Chicago.
Well, even the Knicks' offense couldn't survive being down Carmelo Anthony (plus everybody else) against one of the best defenses in the NBA. The Bulls (short-handed themselves) smothered New York's pick-and-roll and shuttered their outside opportunities and, on top of that, Raymond Felton and J.R. Smith had nightmare offensive performances in the loss. In a way, I'm impressed the Knicks kept it so close, given how miserably they executed. On the other hand, it sucks that they could've had this one if they were even a little sharper.
Back to New York they go, with Melo hopefully back in the fold. Short recap'll be up soon.
