P&T For Your Ears!
Again, because Jeremy Lin is good at basketball, people are under the woefully misguided impression that it's a good idea to let me say things on the radio. I can't explain it. All I can do is cooperate and pretend I'm not illiterate/naked. Anyway, if you're interested, here's the information and linkage necessary to hear my sweet, mid-pubescent voice this afternoon and evening:
- I'll be on 1700 THE CHAMP in Des Moines (!?) at 4:30 (just a few minutes from now). Click "Listen Live!" in that link and you can do just that. I think we're going to be talking about our favorite whigs.
- At 6:00, I'll be on WHRW in Binghamton, presumably to offer my opinions about broccoli rabe and whether I know anybody named Broccoli Rob (I don't, but I'd like to!). Hopefully they won't ask me any questions about Jeremy Lin, because I've never heard of the guy!
There's probably going to be more of this stuff tomorrow (including my usual visit with the fine bros at WCWP, my only true radio buddies), so you should probably just jam golf pencils in your ears right now.

Talk in the most stereotypical Jersey accent you can on both.

Yeah we used to call him "Black Rob," but then we all realized he's white,
so now the group is split and half calls him “Broccoli Rob” and the other half calls him “B-Rob.”
yao ming is very tall

nice tube sock jer.
I will go to my grave believing that if the Knicks had picked up Earl Barron before the 2011 Playoffs, we would not have been swept by the Celtics.
Never noticed before how big Yao's head really is!
I swear that if I ever see Reggie Miller, then I will punch him in the face!

so many stories and articles out there these past few days, it's kind of absurd
as much as i love the knicks and lin’s emergence (and watching / reading / hearing about both), i’m worried that the media is taking this stuff too far. exactly to what effect, i don’t know, but i wouldn’t mind if the talking heads quieted down a bit. lin’s story is wonderful and inspiring and a journalist’s dream in that sense, but i’m kinda ready for the initial media blitz to be over. i just want to watch the kid ball.

don't know if anyone agrees with me on this
maybe it’s just that as a knicks fan i’m not used to the team getting this sort of positive attention and i don’t know how to react.

That's sort of where I'm at, too.
The stuff I link to here represents a tiny portion of what I’ve actually read. There is SO much.
Seth has anyone ever told you that you remind them of Shelden in Big Bang theory? #goodnaturedvoice

Yo seth
Can we get P&T together at a bar in NYC to watch a game!? CAN WE CAN WE CAN WE WEEEE!? Pretty please?
fuck them before they can fuck you
Turiaf would have spazzed to death in celebrations if he were part of the Knick bench
A void? I see no void!
Anybody know if the Knicks are still looking
into signing J.R Smith? they would be really dangerous with that dude coming off the bench.
Watch out for Isaiah thomas tonight
Not the former gm – the kings player. He rocked Lin in garbage time earlier this year (leading me to incorrectly discount Lin like the rest of the world). If kings are smart they’d put him on Lin all night. Lin could end up w more tos than assists. Prove me wrong again. Please

Seth, I go to Binghamton!
I wish I saw this earlier than now :(
