The Mystical Energies Surrounding J.R. Smith Becoming A New York Knick
I ACCIDENTALLY POSTED THIS IN A REPLY SECTION...DUH IS ME!
Yesterday, the Post and Toast Contributor "FUHRY" requested an insight into J.R. Smith Becoming A New York Knick. Below is the information I gathered:Q1: What is the Obi Abata matrix surrounding the J.R. Smith tonight: EJIRE (unbalanced)
Obi Abata Meaning: Friendliness and Relationships.
Q2: What is the Sacred Odu surrounding the J.R. Smith tonight: IWORI
Sacred Odu Meaning: Greater introspection that leads to positive results.
Collective interpretation of the Obi Abata and Sacred Odu: J.R., is insecure about how he will fit into the Knicks,
and NYC, but this imbalance of energy will become balanced once he figures it out through deep contemplation.
Q3: What is the Obi Abata matrix surrounding the J.R. Smith's impact on the Knicks chemistry: AKITA (unbalanced)
Obi Abata Meaning: Success after hardship.
Q4: What is the Sacred Odu surrounding the J.R. Smith impact on the Knicks chemistry: IRETE
Sacred Odu Meaning: Dealing with everyday pressure
Collective interpretation of the Obi Abata and Sacred Odu: JR's ability to impact the Knicks new chemistry will be
successful but it won't come easy--he will struggle in Coach "Ds" system. Adding to this, is the fact that he
is dealing with the everyday pressure surrounding coming to the Knicks, and his ability to deal with the pressure
cooker that is New York will challenge him; therefore, we have an athlete in crisis with the potential to help the Knicks.
Q5: What is the Obi Abata matrix surrounding the Knick's impact on J.R. Smith to become part of the team chemistry: AKITA (unbalanced)
Obi Abata Meaning: Success after hardship.
Q6: What is the Sacred Odu surrounding thesurrounding the Knick's impact
on J.R. Smith to become part of the team chemistry: OTURA
Sacred Odu Meaning: Peace, mildness, calmness
Collective interpretation of the Obi Abata and Sacred Odu: As a team, the Knick players and coaching staff
will struggle overall to have JR adapt to their style of play--but the Knicks impact on him will be successfull. After
they achieve this success, JR will achieve a peace-of-heart on being a NY Knick with his new found success.
Overall Opinion: This is a young man that wants to make it in the City where Frank said "If I can make it here,
I can make it anywhere." Carmello will have a great deal to do with his success, as I am sure it was Carmello
who convinced JR to come here. I am sure Mello will take him under his wings. NOTE: I want to publicly
give Mello kudos for being the one who went to Coach D and said take a look at Jeremy.
Later on in the day I will post divination results on the Knicks vs. Hornets tonight...
Best Regards
OwanrinGunda

I think they will. And something is special about this team. I saw the same dynamic with the Arizona Diamondbacks when I lived in Phoenix…great team chemistry…they liked being around one another….I think the Knicks like each other, but now they have to steal a page out of the Walt Frazier Knicks…Hang out in restaurants….get seen in the malls….ya know. I mean, the Clippers are always hanging out together….At any rate, I’m enjoying this team and I am glad for Coach D. I hope he starts getting some props…as well as his defensive coordinator!

I don't think it was as much Carmelo...
As it was $2.5 Million. Either way, good pickup for the Knicks I think. When all our players are healthy we may have a very complete roster…just in time for the playoffs baby woooo!
In Donnie we trust.
Sorry OwanrinGunda if you answered this
but when you say you “ask the Obi Abata” these questions and the matrix gives you the phrase, what’s your process for doing that?
You just got Tysoned!!!!!!
did you read his first post?
you definitely should, its in the rec’d fanposts…
an excerpt…
As written by Afolabi A. Epega, in his book, “Obi Divination,” “Obi divination is the original and most valuable form of Ifa divination systems performed by the ancient [African people of Ifa]. [The four shells] splits into four separable segments: two males (ako meji) and two females (abo meji). These segments represent a balance in the cosmic forces of the universe: the positive and masculine force, and the negative and feminine force. It is believed that all the changes and transformations taking place in the universe result from the interaction of these two cosmic forces (1).”
“When the obi is cast, the combinations of the two males and two females segments produce [1 of 9 possible Obi Abata formations, which also indicates 1 of 16 major [Sacred] Odus that represent the basic principles underlying the phenomenal changes of the universe. The system of Obi divination is based on the identity of opposites and the mathematics of four raised to the fourth power, thus giving a total of 256 possibilities (Epega 2).”

Thanks Stingy!
But does that mean he’s throwing 4 shells on a matrix which provides him with the Obi Abata phrase??
You just got Tysoned!!!!!!
Yes, the shells are released from my hand and an interpretation of the shells are done in accordance with the African books used to guide me.

I don't understand and don't need anything to tell me what I know, I don't like the dude, BUT
He can shoot and we got guys who don’t wanna fuck a good thing up so welcome to the Knicks JR, give the man a ball
Re-reading I sound like an ass dissing you- many apologies - not my intention
This is not my cup of tea cuz I don’t like to mix faith and other like things with sports despite being a person of faith and athlete (in practice not pro), but you are an impressive dude deserving respect so my apologies are offered and I’ll keep my personal op’s to myself
I respect your argument and truth be told, I am not sure how much longer I will do this. My goal is to see if there is a consistency in looking at a sports team metaphysically. No diss taken. Thanks for your props and critique….

OwanrinGunda, you're doing a fantastic job.
I’m blown away at how great these posts are. It looks like P&T has a new divination master! (Sorry, MikeTheIntern.)

I think Seth might have to give up his position as high priest to this guy.
Stainer of mountaintops.
Nah, not me….Seth is my IDOL and his writing is so great, that’s why I don’t give an analytical
evaluation of the Knicks…I mean, why bother, when Seth can do it. I’ll just stick to the metaphysical. But thanks for the props….

this makes perfect sense.
I think it was Bobby V who said: "You are never as good as you are when you are at your best, and you are not as bad as when you are at your worst."
Nugs fan, JR optimist here
Hmm. The crystal ball out here in the Rockies says JR will play for a championship team. It doesn’t say if that team is NY, but it doesn’t exlude them either.
Great signing for NY, and an opportunity for JR that I sincerely hope he takes advantage of. He will easily provide, right now, something similar to what JT brings to the Mavs, a quaility sixth man who could go off for 40 on any given night. He presumably will be given more of a chance than he ever had under Karl. Hope he flourishes in NY.
The biggest chemistry problem with JR during his stint in Denver was with GK, and Karl is an idiot. Unless D’Antoni refuses to directly address him, or throw him under the bus with the press, expect much less trouble from JR.
And who knows. If JR has matured, he could blossom into a bona fide All Star. He has the talent, one of those “no ceiling” freakish athletes.
