Game Thread: Knicks vs. Bulls- 2/12/12

Chicago Bulls at New York Knicks, Feb 2, 2012 8:00 PM EST

Well, the network's being a little sticky, but hopefully this is up and you can read it and comment on it. The Knicks play the Bulls tonight! Those Bulls are very, very good but they'll be without Luol Deng and Rip Hamilton, which should hinder them somewhat. They also played just last night, although Tom Thibodeau opted to rest his starters in the fourth quarter, so they should be fresh and clean

Will Carmelo Anthony thrive on the night of his All-Star selection? Will the Knicks' hot shooting continue? Will Iman Shumpert be able to handle Derrick Rose? Will, um, any other things happen that would behoove the Knicks? Tune in at 8 PM (on TNT, not MSG) to find out!

In the meantime, comment here if you're watching, check out Blog-a-Bull to learn about the Bulls, and remember not to post photos, .gifs, illegal streams, and online Yahtzee platforms in the thread.

What a weird game

We’re playing nice on offense, but sucking on defense. I like the way the offense looks though.

let me ask yall somethin

Why in the FUCK does dantoni always draw that same damn play for amare to shoot the 3. He is 0-3 on that shit. Every time we’ve needed a three at end of regulation, he runs that same shit. You call timeout. Sub in your 3 pt shooters! Walker , Novak, TD, melo amare. Or fields if u think novak was too cold to enter the game.

It was our last timeout. Pull out ur best shit for that possession!!! Wtf man. Yea im ranting. I feel like regardless of our record and the bulls record that we should be playing MUCH better ball than 8-14. Damnit man

he made it

But he has a slow release. With that little bit of time remaining in that in I wouldn’t have drawn that either.

This isn’t a Broadway show, why go for dramatic win with improbable amare for the 3? Go with ur best 3pt shooters make Chicago respect each guy and kick it to the open man. This shit is baffling.

My only complaint is the turnovers in the 2nd quarter

Otherwise I think we are close to getting it together. TD and Bully really know how to suck at the right time. Rebounding and effort was great in the 2nd half…decent game from Melo but he really needs to get that % up. Hello Amar’e! Nice to meet you!
