The Year of Jeremy Lin and The Decline of Tony Douglas
Now that I think of my heading it becomes very clear what the media did there. He's of asian descent so they thought it'd be cool to say the year of Jeremy Lin like the year of the Dragon. Anyways on a different note take the Jump!
- Trade Tony Douglas for a 1st round or 2nd round pick. ( It could be a potential Landry, Jorts or Iman)
- Put him in the D-League so he can shake off his "rust" if it is "rust"
- Trade him for a defensive big along with Bill Walker(More J.R. Smith), I would take anyone!
Ofcourse I can't make these Franchise changing decisions( I bet every Knicks fan wish they could) but the reason for posting this is to see where you guys stand.

Yeah I don't either
But the choices we would have are very limited, his stock has definantly plummeted.
Another choice is to wait and do nothing
The Knicks shouldn’t trade TD while his stock is so low. No way they get a 1st round pick for him now. And a 2nd round pick can be bought with cash, so I don;t the point in trading him for that.

He ain't worth a first or 2nd round pick right now!
Maybe he’s worth a 5th round pick. Oh wait, there are only 2 rounds in basketball, right? To the D-league he goes then.

i feel bad for DWTDD
he really has no shot at time now that baron is back, and we signed JR.
i think we owe him the respect to trade him to the place where he wants to go, thats if anyone wants him

The only thing we owe him is around $1 million for next season
He’ll be back next year. Bibby won’t be, and who knows about Baron or JR. Maybe he works himself back into the rotation, and maybe not. But he’ll definitely be on the team next year.
If Toney gets his shot back he'll be useful.
If not, well his career is likely over. At least with the Knicks.
Linning and Winning!
Keep him
this isn’t NBA 2kwhatever.
We can’t just keep shuffling our roster around. Keep these guys who are cheap and still have potential and try and grow them.
My Wife is a Patriot's fan...
"Giants rely on fumbles and stripping the ball. If the pats secure the ball, then the pats win, but if they fumble or let the ball get striped than the giants win. every game the giants play they always benefit from the other teams bonehead mistakes (fumbled or striped) not from thier skills. The giants are a dirty team, I can’t think of any othe team as dirty as the giants. They try to strip the ball as hard as they can because they know they can’t win a fair game." by EaglesNeedD on Jan 23, 2012 2:01 AM EST
Cash Rules
Gotta keep him just because of his low cap # and more than likely Bibby and Baron Davis will be gone so next year we’ll need the depth even if only for practice/garbage time minutes
gotta keep him because he can DWTDD
you don’t regress that badly forever unless you get old! DWTDD will rise again

The Hawks need him
Maybe a second rounder—that would be ideal…the guy is useless to us.
