Yay!

First of all, I think Jorts is awesome, just personality and chemistry-wise. He's just fun to root for. And I'm looking forward to seeing him play some more and seeing what he can do on the floor with his intruiguing skill set.

But most of all, I think the Knicks rotation needs him, because when Chandler gets in foul trouble, he can provide the kind of classic big-man toughness and rebounding - plus that non-sequituur outside shot that's a sure-shot demoralizer for the other team. A Jeffries/Amar'e combo at the 4/5 might have its uses, but Jorts, I think, at least potentially provides a better complement for Amar'e in the front court when Chandler's on the bench.

The Knicks are Dirt Strong again, y'all!
