Hi all, first post here on PnT. I am actually a lakers fan, but follow the knicks as well. After watching the Knicks' loss to the Bulls, and the clear rebounding issues the Knicks have, I asked myself why the knicks don't make this trade:
Of course, that's not looking likely anymore, with Howard saying that he wants to stick out the rest of the season in Orlando in anticipation of a likely 'taking of his talents to brooklyn,' but I think that if possible, this trade would benefit both the magic and the knicks. In addition, this puts Howard in a spotlight market (NY) which is even better than the brooklyn arena he was hoping to move to.
What do you guys think? I think this catapults the Knicks into serious talks as a legitimate championship contender (or perhaps even favorite).
