It's a quiet Wednesday morning and the Knicks have a game against the Blazers tonight. There have been some recent updates on New York's injury situation.
Player avail for Port: Walker (elbow) out, Davis (upset stomach) probable; Jeffries (knee) questionable; Douglas (personal reasons) out
Mike D'Antoni says that Jared Jeffries will play
1. As long as that knee really is ready, it'll be very nice to have Jeffries back. His defense and rebounding have been missing while Tyson Chandler is off the floor, and the second unit just seems unstable without him. He's a rather calming influence, that Jared.
2. Hope everything's okay with Toney Douglas. "Personal reasons" could be code for any number of things.
3. Poor Baron Davis. I told him that burritos aren't meant to be stored overnight in backpacks, but he just wouldn't listen to me.
4. This is the biggest and most important story of the day. Nothing else is going on.
