So apparently, Amare's specific injury could have a faster healing process than originally thought...but I'd add the caveat that this random back specialist still doesn't know the specifics of Amare's injury, so take it with a grain of salt.

Just talked to a back specialist who said, depending on how he responds to treatment, Amare could be back in 2 weeks if he forgoes surgery.

I just hope he doesn't rush it...
