D'Antoni just hinted that he's going to start Baron Davis alongside Lin.
Isn't that just a gigantic disrespect against Lin? It's almost like they want the value of Lin to go down just so they can afford him next year.
If D'antoni was so sure of Baron Davis, why not start Lin with the B Unit just to compare the production?
I know everyone wants to keep everyone that's good but there are a couple of undeniable truths.
Carmelo, Amare, and Tyson all have to start. The next two starters have to cover Amare defensively, and for Carmelo offensively. So we need a sharpshooting center forward.
It really looks like we're going to trade Lin to the Lakers.
A) It's closer to his parents and his church in California, Palo Alto.
B) Lakers need a PG something fierce.
C) Large Asian market in Cali.
D) Lakers can afford to get some bad contracts for Lin. (amare can go with him.)
E) Lakers can give Gasol to the Knicks.
Carmelo, Baron Davis, Gasol, JR Smith, Tyson.
Kobe, Lin, Amare, Artest, Novak
Before you laugh ridiculously. Remember. This is Dolan we are talking about. This trade makes sense to him.
