Empirical Data of Lineups--Who has the better WS score?

What I'm basically doing: Which D'antoni Lineup is better?

If you don't want to read below just focus on the WS48 stat.

A) I've listed out all the stats.

B) I'm focusing on WS and WS 48. WS is a score that takes all the good stuff that contributes to wins and minuses all the bad stuff while adjusting for various factors that may harm the numbers--unlike the PER espn likes to use, it doesn't give better scores to those who make more shot attempts.

WS is slanted to those that have more games under their belts. WS48 is a better representation for comparing lineups that have a lot of rookies.

Starters: Lin(1.9/.170), Carmelo(2.3/.124), Tyson(6.1/.242), Amare(2.0/.094), Fields(2.5/.105) = WS:12.9 / WS48: .735

B-Team: Davis(-.01/-.126), JR Smith(.3/.113), JJ(1.3/.108), Novak(1.5/.189), Shump(.6/.035) = WS: 3.6 / WS48: .319

We've played our starters 4x as much but our starters are only theoretically 2x as good.

Here's there Offensive Efficiency over their Defensive Efficiency. the O/D RATE

Starters: 5.45

Bench: 4.85

--------------------> O/D Rate

JR Smith, Landry Fields, Josh Harrellson, Jared Jeffries, Jeremy Lin, Jerome Jordan, Steve Novak, Tyson Chandler

Carmelo, Stat, Shumpert, Baron have the lowest.

In fact, Smith, the lowest of them all, is 2% higher than Carmelo.

So we should really be looking at Tyson, Steve, Lin, Jeffries and then a toss up between Jorts and Landry.

3/7/2012 Update: Mavs vs knicks game proved me right. Old Lin Lineup much better. New starting lineup bad.
